A religious profession is a total dedication of the disciple of Christ to establish His kingdom on earth. It is the mark of faith in the presence of a Christian community and this very act of faith is the legacy from the past 126 years of walking on the footprints of Christ as Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary.

The theme of the ceremony was ‘The cross is our salvation and the wisdom of God’.

Most Rev. Benny Mario Travas, Archbishop of Lahore, presided over the Holy Mass concelebrated by twenty priests of the archdiocese. He gave a beautiful message and stressed on fidelity to the charism, to our community and to the Church. He encouraged the sisters to continue believing in working as a team which requires sincerity.

The solemn liturgy and the choir lead by Amir Yaqub made a huge difference for all present and the spiritual atmosphere of the celebration enriched us in faith.

After the vote of thanks, all the guests walked towards Sacred Heart Convent Hall to enjoy a festive meal.
