After completing her two year Novitiate in the Philippines, Sr Josephine Bashir returned to Lahore on 29 April. Following her retreat and the necessary preparations, she was ready to embrace her life as a committed Sister of Charity of Jesus and Mary.

On 9 July 2026, Josephine Bashir pronounced her First Vows. She chose Incense as the spiritual symbol of her life’s journey with the Lord, a sign of her desire that her life may rise like a fragrant offering before God. The occasion was graced by Sr Lucy Jacob and Sr Beatrice, adding joy and solemnity to the celebration.

It was indeed a moment of great joy for the province to welcome a young and vibrant new SCJM member. May she truly become a channel through whom God’s mercy and compassion reach all people.
